Abstract

Artikel ini membincangkan model pengeluaran optimum cassava (manihot esculenta crantz) melalui fungsi pengeluaran Cobb Douglas dalam penghasilan bioetanol. Bagi membentuk dan menilai model optimum cassava dalam penghasilan bioetanol, beberapa pembolehubah utama telah berjaya dikenalpasti. Pembolehubah ini termasuklah ruang tanaman, baja dan buruh. Pemilihan model optimum adalah berdasarkan penelitian beberapa rangkaian model pengeluaran. Penggunaan praktikal fungsi pengeluaran memerlukan beberapa andaian, terutamanya bentuk fungsi teknologi pengeluaran, imbalan ikut skala, sifat-sifat hambatan teknologi dan fungsi pasaran. Berdasarkan pertimbangan yang dinyatakan, model optimum cassava berdasarkan kaedah calibration melalui fungsi pengeluaran Cobb Douglas dibangunkan bagi menganggar parameter pengeluaran bioetanol daripada cassava.

This article discusses the optimal production model of cassava (Manihot crantz esculenta) through a Cobb Douglas production function in the production of bioethanol. To develop and evaluate the optimal model of cassava in the production of bioethanol, several variables have been successfully identified. These variables include the area of crops, fertiliser and labour. The selection of optimal model is based on investigation of several collection of production model. The practical application of the production function method requires making certain assumptions, particularly on the functional form of the production technology, returns to scale, and characteristics of the technological progress, as well as of the functioning of markets. Based on the considerations mentioned, the optimal model of cassava based on calibration method through Cobb Douglas production function was developed to estimate the production parameters of bioethanol from cassava.
