Abstract

This study aims to identify the level and personality differences of students who take the program of study at Sultan Idris Education University. Information obtained through a survey involving 607 students studying at the Faculty of Education and Human Development. A questionnaire was used to identify the driving factors of personal information and students pursuing education. Student personality measured by the NEO Personality Inventory-Revised (NEO-PI-R). The descriptive statistical analysis showed that the majority of student personality education scored Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness, Agreeableness and Conscientiousness at a moderate level. Inferential statistical analysis of personality show significant differences in Neuroticism, Openness, Agreeableness and Conscientiousness based on gender. Results showed no significant differences extra version based on gender.
