Kepanikan pengguna Media Sosial terhadap Virus COVID-19

Kajian mengenai kepanikan pengguna media sosial merupakan salah satu bentuk kewujudan karekteristik emosi dalam kecenderungan personaliti, iaitu Neuroticisme. Dalam kecenderungan Neuroticisme, wujudnya karekteristik yang terdiri daripada kebimbangan, berpuas hati, emosional, selesa, cekal dan simpati. Kajian ini menggunakan Teori Big Five Personality, dengan menganalisis kiriman teks yang dikirimkan oleh remaja. Namun, dalam kajian ini hanya karekteristik emosional sahaja yang dilihat, iaitu melalui kiriman penulisan dalam media sosial. Kiriman penulisan berlandaskan karekteristik emosional dalam kalangan pengguna media sosial terhadap isu Covid 19 dianalisis pemaknaan teks yang disampaikannya dengan menggunakkan Model Lima Bahagian yang terdiri daripada persekitaran, pemikiran, rasa hati, tingkah laku dan tindak balas fizikal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan penyampaian karekteristik emosional melalui penulisan dan seterusnya menjadi medium pengantara komunikasi terhadap sikap kepanikan pengguna media sosial. Kajian ini mampu menjelaskan faktor penggunaan emosi dalam penyampaian sikap dalaman diri mereka melalui penulisan di media sosial.
