The level of preschool children in recognizing numbers 1 to 10 is at worrying level after the implantation of the Teaching and Learning at Home mode. The purpose of this concept paper in to introduce teaching aids known as 'Caps Kit' to help preschool children recognize numbers 1 to 10. The use of 'Caps Kit' has applied the approach of learning through play in teaching and learning to help children learned naturally. This paper discusses past studies and components related to the approach to learning through play and the use of ‘Caps Kits’ in teaching and learning. This concept paper also discusses the effects of using ‘Caps Kit’ in teaching Early Mathematics in preschool.
