Call for Papers for Volume 13, Issue 1, April 2024

The Jurnal Pendidikan Awal Kanak-kanak Kebangsaan (JPAKK) is pleased to announce a general call for papers for Volume 13, Issue 1, April 2024. 

In this Call for Papers, the journal is inviting article submissions from academic and researchers who are involved in various aspects of both research and practice concerning early childhood education.

JPAKK accepts original Research Papers, Review Papers, and Short Communications (Letters) from scholars in Malaysia written in Malay or English only.

Every article will be peer-reviewed by double blind reviewers as well as independent Editor by JPAKK Editorial Members.

Prospective authors are invited to submit their articles through our online submission system. There is no submission, processing or publication fees, and the published open access articles will be accessible online free of charge.

Submit manuscript before 01 March 2024 to ensure timely publication.

Jurnal Pendidikan Awal Kanak-kanak Kebangsaan [JPAKK] (ISSN 2289-3032 / eISSN 2550-178X) began its first issue in 2012. JPAKK published twice a year (June & December started 2020), scholarly peer-reviewed publication, with an Editorial Board comprised of eminent scholars and is managed by the National Child Development Research Centre (NCDRC) of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia) with the support of Penerbit UPSI (UPSI Press). JPAKK is a local voice for both research and practice concerning early childhood education. This refereed journal extends across various social/cultural contexts and contributes to the national debate on holistic development for young children. This local voice for children explores a range of topics such as multicultural issues, indigenous early education, children’s learning, sustainable development, advocacy, and other issues involving early childhood education for the world’s children.
