Abstract

The use of teaching strategy is closely related to the students’ achievements in a course. This study is being held in a Brunei elementary school in and for about 20 students participated in. The writer has used intended tuype of sample. 10 female students and 10 male students were involved. This paper is written to observe a misconception problem which is faced by students in science course especially to the topic og light and solving efforts. Here, teachers were involved a lot in the activities to help students by inquiry. Where, teachers provide their students with utensils, tools and concept changing strategy like testing technique that requires students to organise assignments and deep thinking. The result of this observation has show that there is a difference before and after this study held about result and conceptual knowledge of students.
