PENGGUNAAN CD MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEFAHAMAN BAHASA INGGERIS DAN MENGUBAH TINGKAH LAKU PEMBELAJARAN KANAK-KANAK PRASEKOLAH

Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti penggunaan CD Multimedia Interaktif dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kefahaman Bahasa Inggeris kanak-kanak Prasekolah dan mengubah tingkah laku pembelajaran kanak-kanak prasekolah. Kajian dijalankan secara eksperimental dan pemerhatian terhadap tingkah laku kanak-kanak dari segi penglibatan mereka dalam aktiviti Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggeris melalui dua kaedah pengajaran berbeza. Seramai 30 orang kanak-kanak Prasekolah Sekolah Kebangsaan di Sepang dibahagikan kepada Kumpulan Rawatan (15 orang) dan Kumpulan Kawalan (15 orang). Dapatan kajian menunjukkan min skor ujian pos bagi kumpulan rawatan adalah lebih tinggi berbanding kumpulan kawalan kefahaman dan perubahan tingkah laku. Hasil kajian menunjukkan penggunaan CD Multimedia Interaktif dalam pengajaran and pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kefahaman Bahasa Inggeris kanak-kanak prasekolah. Kaedah pembelajaran menggunakan CD Multimedia Interaktif adalah berkesan dalam mengubah tingkah laku kanak-kanak iaitu meningkatkan minat kanak-kanak terhadap Bahasa Inggeris.
This study aims to identify the use of Interactive Multimedia CD in teaching and learning to enhance the understanding of English language among preschool children and to improve their learning behavior. This study was done experimentally and through observation of the children’s behavior during their involvement in the activities of teaching and learning of English using two different methods of teaching. 30 preschool children in the National School Sepang were divided into Treatment Group (15 persons) and Control Group (15 people). The results showed the mean post-test scores for the treatment group was higher than the control group in terms of understanding dan behaviour. The results showed the mean post-test scores for the treatment group were higher than the control group. Results showed that the use of Interactive Multimedia CD in teaching and learning could enhance the understanding of English among preschoolers. Learning methods using Interactive Multimedia CD is effective in improving the behaviour of children by increasing the children's interest towards English.
