Abstract
Proficiency in 21st-Century skills from the early stages of education is a good start to ensure a smoother educational journey for a child. The education sector is always equipped with emerging technology to meet these latest educational needs. One of the technologies is the Interactive Whiteboard. However, the existing literature still does not explain insights into the connection between interactive whiteboards and the proficiency of 21st-century skills. Therefore, this study aims to examine how Interactive Whiteboard can support the proficiency of 21st-century skills of preschool children. This study employs a qualitative design with a case study approach. Four teachers who teach in KEMAS kindergarten were selected as study participants. Data were collected using three data collection methods, namely, interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data were then analysed, coded, categorized, and sub-themed to develop the main theme. Findings are divided into four themes: 1) stimulate communication skills; 2) foster a spirit of collaboration; 3) stimulate critical thinking; and 4) increase student creativity. This study has implications for the interactive whiteboard integration style by KEMAS kindergarten teachers.
