Abstract

ABSTRACT

The implementation of Movement Control Order (MCO) due to the Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on an academic routine such as the teaching and learning (T&L) process. The best alternative to this situation is fully online T&L by using information and communication technology. There are four main components in online T&L; lecturer, student, pedagogy and learning object (LO), and technology. Students need to access provided LO virtually. This situation required student commitment to manage their own learning process or self-learning. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify the pattern of LO accessing by students while in the MCO period and its relationship to subject achievement. This quantitative research used data and log from the e-learning portal for descriptive analysis to identify the pattern and its relationship to subject achievement. A result of the analysis shows that grade A students tend to access LO more than grade B and grade C students while text-based LO gets higher in accessing compared to the video. The next analysis shows that there is a relationship between the pattern of LO accessing and subject achievement. As an implication of study and discussion, lecturer and institution are highly recommended for specific T&L structure support by specific LO to help student achievement in the subject.
