Abstrak
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menguji penguasaan konsep pengaturcaraan dalam tajuk algoritma bagi mata pelajaran Asas Sains Komputer (ASK) dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran teradun di sekolah. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan reka bentuk kuasi eksperimen digunakan dalam kajian ini. Pemilihan subjek kajian dijalankan secara persampelan bertujuan melibatkan 59 murid Tingkatan Satu yang mengambil mata pelajaran ASK di sebuah sekolah di Daerah Kuantan. Sampel ini dibahagikan kepada 29 orang murid untuk kumpulan rawatan dan 30 digunakan murid untuk kumpulan kawalan. Instrumen kajian digunakan adalah soalan peperiksaan akhir tahun 2018. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa kumpulan rawatan memperoleh peningkatan pencapaian yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan berbanding kumpulan kawalan. Kesimpulan daripada kajian menunjukkan kaedah pembelajaran teradun memberikan kesan yang positif terhadap penguasaan konsep pengaturcaraan dalam topik algoritma. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan pendekatan pembelajaran teradun dapat meningkatkan keberkesanan pengajaran dan pembelajaran konsep pengaturcaan di dalam mata pelajaran ASK.
Abstract
This study aims to test the mastery of programming concepts in the subject of algorithms for Computer Science Basic (ASK) subjects using a blended learning approach in a school. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was used in this study. The subject selection of the study was conducted by a sample of 59 Form One students who took ASK subject at a school in Kuantan District. The sample was divided into 29 students for a treatment group and 30 students for a control group. The research instrument used was a 2018 final examination question. Data were analysed using descriptive and inference analysis. The results show that the treatment group achieved significantly higher achievement than the control group. The findings from the study show that the blending learning method has a positive effect on the mastery of programming concepts in algorithmic topics. Implications of this study show that the approach to learning blended learning can enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning programming concepts in ASK subject.
