中国人文学研究的“理”与“势”

Accomplishment and Influence in the Study of Chinese Humanities

Abstract

 中国人文学研究早已不只是中国学者从事的领域，只要在学术上真正有所建立，自然会在广大的学术共同体中得到认可。前者是“理”，后者是“势”。任何在学术上真有建树的学者所在之处，便是学术的“中心”。学术“中心”取决于学人的所在，与地域无关。中国大陆之外世界范围内从事中国人文学的学者，尤其是中国大陆之外华语世界从事中国人文学的学者，历来在中国人文学研究的领域中扮演重要角色。面对近十年来中国大陆意识形态的新局面及其产生的影响，中国之外华语世界的人文学者如何与中国大陆清醒的人文学者一道，在中国人文学研究的“理”与“势”之间进一步发挥应有的作用，值得全球从事中国人文学研究的学者深思熟虑。

Abstract

The study of Chinese humanities has always not been exclusive to Chinese scholars of China. With substantial achievements in the study of Chinese humanities, any scholar, Chinese or non-Chinese, could play an important role with his/her influence. Wherever this kind of scholars goes, the place accordingly becomes the center of the study of Chinese humanities. The center of the study of Chinese humanities relies on the accomplished scholars, has nothing to do with geographic regions. Those scholars in Chinese humanities who are outside China, especially those who are in the Chinese-speaking world outside China, have played an important role in the study of Chinese humanities. Given the new ideological trend in China and its domestic and global impact, the scholars in Chinese humanities outside China, together with Chinese scholars without nationalist mentality, should make further contributions to the study of Chinese humanities and play an influential role. This deserves to be pondered by all scholars in Chinese humanities around the world.
