Abstract

Public institutions of higher learning such as the Universiti Teknologi MARA is an organization that is well-acquinted in terms of academic glory as well as the personality of its employees. An organization can survive with its glory which rests on the origins of the previous administrators who led to its status as it is today. Looking at this situation, three objectives have been listed which are to identify UiTM employees who have put their trusts in UiTM. Secondly, the data is analysed qualitatively and analyze and thirdly, to form a UiTM DNA model that can be used as a reference for the top management in the formation of human capital and the implementation of strategic planning. There are three sources of data obtained for the data analysis process. First, the primary data obtained through an interview session with the former Vice Chancellors of UiTM. Second, an exploratory survey with 187 respondents consisting of six different categories of respondent and the third source comes from secondary data of speeches and books from the former Vice Chancellor of UiTM. The methods used in analyzing the data were content analysis method, exploratory data analysis and word frequency using word generator. Using a DNA metaphor resulted ftrom biological epistemology, this DNA structure has a backbone that binds nitrogenous bases in the DNA.  Therefore, the UiTM DNA model formed is based on three main components, the backbone of "Nation, Knowledge and Success" and then binds to the nitrogen basis of "Thoughts, Emotions, Spirit, Aspirations and Behavior" which also forms a model known as PESAT (an acronym based on the 5 main components of the UiTM DNA model). This study provides a new contribution to the organization in administering and managing its citizens based on the sustainability of identity and precise aspirations, especially those involving large organizations.
