Abstract

Archeology and archeologists have contributed much in reconstructing the history of man from the pre-historic age. The results of archeological excavations that lead to the discovery of artifacts in various places throughout the Malay world, enable archeologists to build up a clearer or truer picture of what the Malay civilization was, when it existed and where. The discoveries can also throw light on how the people lived, moved around and communicated, as well as redefining earlier theories about how the Malay civilization started.
