Abstract

  ஆய்வுச்சாரம்: இவ்வாய்வின் முதன்மை நோக்கம் கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள மக்களின் அன்றைய வேளாண்மையும் அவர்கள் பயன்படுத்திய வேளாண்சொற்களும் (கலைச்சொற்களும்) பற்றி ஆராய்வதாகும். இவ்வாய்வு நடைமுறைசார் அணுகுமுறையிலும், விளக்கமுறை அணுகுமுறையிலும் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இவ்வாய்வில் களஆய்வு, நூலாய்வு ஆகிய இரு அணுகுமுறைகள் கையாளப்பட்டுள்ளன. இவ்வாய்வு இங்குள்ள மக்களின் தொழில் சிறப்பையும் வேளாண்வாழ்க்கையில் பயன்படுத்துகின்ற வழக்குச்சொற்களைப் பதிவுசெய்யும் நோக்கிலும் இளந்தலைமுறையினருக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்வதற்கும் பலரும் அறிந்துகொள்வதற்கும் வாய்ப்பாக அமைந்துள்ளது. இவ்வாய்வில் கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டத்தின் அன்றைய வேளாண்மைமுறையும் வட்டாரவழக்கும் பற்றி ஆய்வுசெய்யும் முதல் கட்டுரை என்பதை ஆய்வாளர் உறுதிசெய்கிறார்.   கருச்சொற்கள்: கன்னியாகுமரி, வேளாண்சொற்கள், வேளாண்முறைகள், வட்டாரவழக்குகள்

Abstract:
The main purpose of this study is to study the day to day agriculture of the people in Kanyakumari district and the terminology they used. The study is structured in a practical and descriptive approach. Two approaches have been handled in this study, namely, field research and forensics. The study is an opportunity for the younger generation to learn and learn about the professionalism of the people here and the jargon used in agriculture. In this review, the researcher confirms that this is the first article to study the agricultural practices and customs of the day in Kanyakumari district.
