Pembinaan dan kesan instrumen latihan (Speed Arm Leg Kit) terhadap prestasi atlet lari pecut di daerah Kinta Selatan

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membina dan menilai keberkesanan instrumen latihan inovatif, Speed Arm Leg Kit (SALKIT), dalam meningkatkan prestasi lari pecut atlet muda. SALKIT adalah alat latihan yang mengintegrasikan bebanan progresif dan rintangan khusus pada otot-otot utama yang digunakan semasa larian pecut, seperti otot kaki dan lengan. Instrumen ini membantu meningkatkan daya pecutan dengan memperbaiki koordinasi, kekuatan, dan kecekapan biomekanik atlet. Kajian kuasi-eksperimental ini melibatkan 60 atlet berusia 13 hingga 17 tahun di daerah Kinta Selatan, Perak. Atlet dibahagikan secara rawak kepada kumpulan rawatan yang menggunakan SAL dan kumpulan kawalan yang menjalani latihan konvensional. Penilaian dijalankan menggunakan ujian catatan masa untuk jarak 30 dan 60 meter. Hasil keputusan menunjukkan bahawa kumpulan rawatan yang menggunakan SALKIT mencatatkan penurunan masa larian sebanyak 37.5% pada jarak 30 meter dan 44.4% pada jarak 60 meter berbanding kumpulan kawalan yang menjalani latihan konvensional. Analisis data menggunakan ujian T-sampel bebas menunjukkan perbezaan yang signifikan dalam prestasi pecut antara kedua-dua kumpulan, dengan kumpulan SALKIT mencatatkan peningkatan prestasi yang ketara, p < .05. Implikasi kajian menunjukkan potensi instrumen SALKIT sebagai alat sesuai yang boleh digunakan jurulatih untuk meningkatkan prestasi atlet lari pecut di peringkat sekolah hingga kebangsaan.
