  • Malaysian Journal of Music

    The Malaysian Journal of Music (MJM) [ISSN 2600-9366 e-ISSN 2600-9331] previously known as the Malaysian Music Journal (MMJ) (2012-2017, ISSN :  2232-1020 e-ISSN :  0128-2158 ), is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal that highlights music research and scholarship. It is a forum for music scholars to critically discuss issues related to music. Whilst the journal is based in Malaysia, articles from any region with theoretically robust and empirically engaging content are welcomed. We invite submissions of original articles from a wide spectrum of research areas including musicology, ethnomusicology, music education, performance, composition, music technology, popular music, music therapy and music business. Multidisciplinary research that includes music is also welcomed. Our journal publishes articles in Malay and English bi-annually.
        
  • Journal of Research, Policy & Practice of Teachers and Teacher Education

    Journal of Research, Policy & Practice of Teachers & Teacher Education (ISSN 2232-0458 /eISSN 2550-1771) began its first issue in 2011. JRPPTTE is a biannual (April and October start 2024), scholarly peer-reviewed publication, with an Editorial Board comprised of eminent scholars and is managed by the Faculty of Human Development of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia) with the support of Penerbit UPSI (UPSI Press). The journal's objective is to publish articles and novel ideas for education researchers and teacher educators on issues of teaching, teacher learning, preservice teachers, teaching and learning, and education policy across early childhood, primary, secondary and higher education. Articles in JRPPTTE can be typically broad and represent diverse orientations towards teaching and teacher education as well as differing methodologies for studying them.

    Journal of Research, Policy & Practice of Teachers & Teacher Education is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.   • Asian Journal of Assessment in Teaching and Learning

    The International Journal of Assessment and Evaluation in Education has change the name to Asian Journal of Assessment in Teaching and Learning [AJATeL] (eISSN 2821-2916) is refereed journal and published by UPSI Press for Faculty of Technical and Vocational, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris and published biannually (April and October beginning 2024). It provides an opportunity for those involved in the field of education (science, engineering, mathematics, design and technology, vocational, arts, psychology and counselling and other related areas) to express and exchange ideas on assessment in teaching and learning. AJATeL maintains a standard double-blind peer review process. The double-blind process means that the identity of the author and the reviewer are not known to each other.

The JCIT is dedicated to promoting original research and insightful debate in contemporary issues and thought by publishing academic original articles, analytical and simulation models, empirical research, policy analysis, and book reviews across a number of disciplines, including accounting banking, business, economics, education, entrepreneurship development, finance, international relation, law, management, population studies, public administration, science, and social welfare.

It is published by UPSI Press for the Faculty of Languages and Communication, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris.

    The Asian Journal of English Language and Pedagogy (AJELP) [ISSN 2289-8689 eISSN 2289-8697] is refereed publication which serves as a platform to promote scholarly discussions and collaborative networking among academicians, researchers, theorists, practitioners, and policy-makers of English studies. AJELP highlights current trends in English language, literature, linguistics and pedagogy in Asia and other international contexts.     Southeast Asia Early Childhood Journal (SAECJ) [eISSN 2821-3149], previously known as the International Journal of Early Childhood Education and Care (IJECEC) [2012-2018]. SAECJ is published twice (2) a year in April and October beginning 2024, scholarly peer-reviewed publication, with an Editorial Board comprised of eminent scholars and is managed by the National Child Development Research Centre (NCDRC) of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (Sultan Idris Education University, Malaysia) with the support of Penerbit UPSI (UPSI Press). SAECJ is a global voice for both research and practice concerning early childhood. This refereed journal extends across various social or cultural contexts and contributes to the international debate on holistic development for young children. This global voice for children explores a range of topics such as education and care, multicultural issues, indigenous early education, children’s learning, sustainable development, advocacy, and other issues involving early childhood for the world’s children. SAECJ accepts original Research Papers, Scientific Review Papers, and Short Communications (Letters) from scholars in Southeast Asia and other countries written in ENGLISH or MALAY. Every article will be peer-reviewed by double blind reviewers as well as independent Editor by SAECJ Editorial Members. SAECJ has no submission, processing and publication fees.

    Journal of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Education (JICTIE) [ISSN 2289-7844 / eISSN 0127-9750] is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (April & October starting 2024) by the Pejabat Karang Mengarang UPSI for the Faculty of Computing and Meta-Technology, UPSI. The main focus of the journal is academic writings and research reports featuring the latest issues of ICT education. Articles are published in English (starting from 2023). For articles in the Malay language, we would advise the author(s) to work closely with a proficient translator. If you need assistance in finding a translator, feel free to contact us.

    Each submission is subjected to a double-blinded peer review process. Acceptance of articles is solely based on merit with no charge for submission and publication.

    Jurnal Sains Sukan & Pendidikan Jasmani (JSSPJ) [ISSN 2232-1918 / eISSN 2600-9323] began its first issue in 2012. JSSPJ publishes two volume per year (April & October). JSSPJ is a scholarly peer-reviewed publication, with an Editorial Board comprised of eminent scholars and is managed by the Faculty of Sports Science & Physical Education of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Malaysia with the support of Penerbit UPSI (UPSI Press). The journal published academic writing and original research report related to sports science and physical education in either Malay or English language.

    Management Research Journal (MRJ) [ISSN 2232-0660 eISSN 2600-9315] is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research.  It is an online international academic journal published twice a year (April & October started 2024). Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English or Malay languages. The journal is devoted to promote scholarly empirical work that uses mainstream approaches to examine accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, human resource and multi-faceted drivers of management change. Papers may broadly cover the above mentioned areas but are not limited to those example topics. We welcome original conceptual and empirical research articles with novel perspectives and/or managerial approaches that would appeal to an international readership. We do not accept unsolicited conceptual and theoretical papers. MRJ supports open access.

    Jurnal Pendidikan Bitara UPSI (BITARA) [eISSN 2821-3173]. Published twice a year (April & October) by Faculty of Human Development, Sultan Idris Education University. It published academic writings and refereed research reports regarding issues on education. Articles are published in Malay and English. The editorial contents are ownership of Sultan Idris Education University. The authors of signed contributions are alone responsible for statements and opinion in them. All articles that have been submitted will be evaluated through double blind method where the writer and the evaluator did not know each other.

    KUPAS SENI [ISSN 2289-4640 eISSN 0127-9688] refereed journal of the Art and Design Department, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, published for the advancement of scholarly knowledge about the visual art and visual art education.This journal publishes articles and reviews of books, recordings, exhibitions, and performances from different points of view with approaches from various disciplines. The journal has a bilingual publishing policy (in Malay and English) and is published twice a year (April & October started 2024).     The publication of Jurai Sembah [e-ISSN 2716-5523] aims to expand and create innovations in the concepts, theories, paradigms, perspectives and methodologies of research and learning of performing arts that are cross-field and cross-cultural. Published twice a year (April and October start 2024), the Jurai Sembah contains the results of original conceptual investigation and field research.  The features of the Jurai Sembah are its thematic publications, innovative approaches as well as cross-cultural and cross-field learning in performing arts. Thematic studies aimed to elicit a new conceptual nuance arising from the combination of several different articles, to present the uniformity of issues, conceptual and methodological uniformity and to illustrate abstract concepts in the performing arts.
